SPOKANE, WA : 1 killed, 1 critically injured in car crash in downtown Spokane on Wednesday, 6th September 2023

A woman was killed and a man was critically injured after they were both hit by a car on South Maple Street and West 4th Avenue in downtown Spokane.

Police responded to the crash around 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. Both victims were found in the roadway with critical injuries. Despite efforts from medical officials at the hospital, the woman did not survive the crash
