SAGINAW CO, MI : MSP trooper dead following crash on I-75 on Wednesday, 24th January 2024

A Michigan State Police (MSP) trooper died following a crash on I-75 Wednesday night.

On Wednesday night, Jan. 24, Tri-City Post Trooper Joel Popp, 39, was conducting a traffic stop on northbound I-75 and Birch Run Road when he was struck by another vehicle, MSP said.
