Gulf Shores, AL : Teen critically injured in crash in a two-vehicle wreck in the 800 block of Waterway West Boulevard/Baldwin County 4, just north of the Intracoastal Waterway on Monday, September 29, 2014

A 16-year-old was critically injured following a two-vehicle crash Monday afternoon on Waterway West Boulevard in Gulf Shores, according to Gulf Shores Police. The driver of the other car, 34-year-old Michael Miller, suffered non life-threatening injuries. Police say 16-year-old Zachary Wood's Ford Expedition and a Jeep Cherokee collided. When police arrived they found both vehicles on opposites sides of the road, with the drivers still inside. Paramedics were called. Wood was air lifted to USA Medical Center and was admitted in critical condition. Miller was taken to South Baldwin Regional Medical Center.
