Lee County ,FL :43-year-old Donald Dallenogare Seriously injured after ATV accident at Misty Morning Lane and Katydid Lane on Saturday night ,April 11th 2015

An Immokalee man was seriously injured during an ATV crash in Lee County late Saturday night.

The crash happened at Misty Morning Lane and Katydid Lane around 11:30 p.m.

According to Florida Highway Patrol, a Honda ATV was going north on Misty Morning Lane approaching the Katydid Lane intersection.

The driver, identified as 43-year-old Donald Dallenogare, proceeded to move into the southbound lanes to overtake a vehicle. In the process, the driver down shifted the ATV.

The ATV began to decrease speed, and the passenger, identified as 56-year-old Larry Johnson, fell off the vehicle.

Johnson was taken to Lee Memorial Hospital with serious injuries.
Dallenogare and Johnson were not wearing helmets.
