Car Crashes into Stopped Bus in Las Vegas, Nevada

A Las Vegas man died Saturday after hitting the rear end of a parked bus Saturday night on Flamingo Road, Metro Police said.Zackary Mitchell Greener, 21, was driving a 2007 Dodge Caliber at a high rate of speed when he struck a stopped bus around 9:07 p.m. Saturday near Sheppard Street.

The bus was stopped at the curb and was loading and unloading passengers at the time of the crash.
Greener was pronounced dead at the scene, and seven bus passengers were taken to a hospital with minor injuries.This was the 50th traffic-related fatality in Metro Police's district in 2013.

The crash remains under investigation by Metro's Accident Investigation Section.
