Gates Mills ,OH : Hawken School senior students killed and injures anotherafter Fatal Car Crash on Thursday ,May 14th 2015
Police are investigating a fatal car crash that happened around 1:37 p.m. Thursday on County Line Road near Gray Eagle Chase.
Four 18-year-olds, all seniors at Hawken School, were traveling in a black Jeep Cherokee when it went off of the road and hit a tree.
Three passengers were taken to Hillcrest Hospital, where one was pronounced dead immediately. A second passenger was pronounced dead later in the evening, according to the school.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner identified the two students as Alexander Doody of Chagrin Falls and Joshua Weil of Cleveland Heights, both 18-years-old.
Police said the driver was not injured.
The students were on their way back to school to work on a project, according to police.
Classes at both campuses of Hawken School are cancelled Friday, however the upper school in Gates Mills will be open from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. for students to meet with counselors.
The crash is under investigation.
