York County, ME: Man turns himself in after fatal hit-and-run in Acton on Saturday, July 18th 2015
Cameron White turned himself in to authorities after an accident killed Kenneth Allen Saturday morning, deputies said.Deputies from the York County Sheriff's Office said that Allen was found near Willy's Ale House on Route 109 around 12:40 a.m.Two witnesses told deputies that Allen was walking north on Route 109 when he was struck by a vehicle also traveling north.According to deputies, Cameron White surrendered to authorities later Saturday morning for leaving the scene of an accident.White was charged with vehicular manslaughter. He is being held at the York County Jail pending a $25,000 bail.
