Paynesville,MN : Two injured in Paynesville crash on December, Saturday 14th 2017

A woman and a child were taken to the CentraCare Paynesville Hospital Saturday morning after a crash at the intersection of Highway 55 and Mill Street.

According to a report from the Minnesota State Patrol, a Buick Century traveling east on Highway
55 and a Chevrolet Equinox traveling south on Mill Street collided when the Buick's driver failed to stop for a stop sign.
The driver of the Chevrolet, Emily Elizabeth Liestman, 25, of Paynesville, and passenger Colton Michael Liestman, 3, of Paynesville, were transported to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The driver of the Buick, Eli Henry Ahrens, 19, of Madelia, was uninjured.

All were wearing seatbelts.

Assisting the State Patrol were Paynesville Fire and Rescue, Paynesville Police Department and Paynesville Ambulance.
