Owatonna,MN : Owatonna teen hurt in interstate crash on Wednesday 19 October 2016

An Owatonna teen was injured late Wednesday in a crash on Interstate 35.The Minnesota State Patrol incident report shows Tori Keck, 17, was travelling northbound when her Pontiac Grand Am struck the rear corner of a semi trailer. The 11:50 p.m. crash is listed as a sideswipe, although it is not clear from the report which vehicle moved into the other’s lane.

Keck, who was wearing a seatbelt, was transported to Owatonna Hospital with injuries described as non-life threatening. Her car is listed as totaled. The Kenworth semi was driven by Dennis McCarthy, 61, of Badger, Iowa, who is listed as uninjured.
