BOYNTON BEACH, FL : A West Palm Beach man was killed in a crash on Interstate 95 on Wednesday, 4th March, 2020

A West Palm Beach man was killed in a crash that involved four vehicles Wednesday afternoon on Interstate 95 near Boynton Beach, the Florida Highway Patrol reports.

Authorities identified the man as Axel E. Duarte Ortiz, 33. Two other men were taken to Bethesda Hospital to be treated for minor injuries, while a woman with minor injuries declined hospital treatment, according to a crash report released Wednesday night.

The men taken to the hospital were identified Ernesto Robania, 50, of Miami and Freddy Fernandez, 48, of Pembroke Pines. The woman was identified as Maria Francisco Andres, 21, of Lake Worth Beach.

Authorities say all were driving vehicles that crashed at about 1:30 p.m. on southbound I-95, just south of Boynton Beach Boulevard and north of the Woolbright Road exit.
