Franklin County, VA : 83-year-old woman killed in crash in the area of Buchanan Trail West and Rabbit Road in Antrim Township on Sunday, 28th April 2019

A Chambersburg woman is dead and other people were injured in a multivehicle accident in Franklin County.

It happened in the area of Buchanan Trail West and Rabbit Road in Antrim Township just before 10 a.m. Sunday.State police say a man driving a Honda Accord rear-ended a Ford Focus as it was waiting to turn left into the Church of God parking lot.

The impact sent the Focus into the other lane, where it was hit by another vehicle.

The passenger in the Focus, an 83-year-old woman, died at the scene.
