CHICAGO, IL : 3 children, 2 adults injured in car, bicycle crash in Rogers Park on Wednesday, 12th June 2024

A wild crash involving two cars and at least one bicycle sent five people to the hospital in the Rogers Park community Wednesday night—some of them kids.

The crash happened at 6:36 p.m. on Jonquil Terrace at Marshfield Avenue in the North of Howard section of Rogers Park. Police said a speeding car hit a blue Nissan and a 13-year-old boy on a bicycle.

Ald. Maria Hadden (49th) described it as a case of reckless driving.
