Provo, UT : One person was killed and another is in critical condition on Thursday, August 10, 2017
One person was killed and another is in critical condition after rolling their pickup Thursday in Springville.
The crash happened at 11:36 a.m. just west of 400 South and 2600 West.
According to Lt. Warren Foster with the Springville Police Department, a white truck towing a horse trailer was traveling westbound on 400 South. It clipped a red pickup headed eastbound. That sent the red truck into a fence, where it rolled.
Police said they are unsure which vehicle drifted across their lane, causing the crash.
The passenger in the red pickup was flown to Utah Valley Hospital in Provo by medical helicopter. Officials confirmed the red pickup driver was discovered dead at the scene.
The driver of the white pickup towing the horse trailer is in good condition.
Police are not releasing the identities of those involved at this time.
