Hundreds lose power after car Slammed into utility pole in edmondss. Snohomish County P.U. D. said about 500 customers were without power after the driver smashed into the power pole late Thursday night. Edmonds police told KIRO 7 that the driver, a 22-year-old man, had just gotten off work before he hit the pole in the 22900 block of Edmonds Way. No other vehicles were involved.
