Oregon State Police troopers are investigating a two vehicle crash on Hwy 34 near Tangent in Linn County Wednesday morning.

The crash happened just before 8 a.m.

According to Senior Trooper Casey Hunter, a 1998 Chevy Prius driven by 38-year-old Kimberly Blocker of Albany, was attempting to make a left hand turn from Columbus Street onto Hwy 34 when it struck the right passenger side wheel well of a 2001 Ford Ranger which was traveling westbound on Hwy 34.

The Ford Ranger, driven by Alex Efimoff, 28, of Woodburn, lost control and rolled onto its top, coming to rest on the highway. Efimoff was transported to Albany General Hospital for minor injuries.

OSP says Blocker was cited for careless driving.

Westbound lanes were blocked for at least an hour while crews worked to remove the vehicles.
