The South Carolina Highway Patrol is investigating after a man who was lying in a road in Berkeley County was struck and killed over the weekend.
Chief Deputy Coroner George Oliver tells local media outlets that the victim was 28-year-old Keon Shawntrell Moultrie of Jamestown.
Patrol Sgt. Bob Beres says the accident happened on U.S. 17-A about 3:30 a.m. Sunday in Jamestown.
The death has been ruled an accident. Other details were not immediately released.
