Hudson Twp., MI : Morenci man dies in one-vehicle crash in Hudson Township on Sunday, February 19, 2017

A Morenci man died Sunday at the scene of a one-vehicle crash on West Beecher Road in Hudson Township.

Christopher Joel Eichler, 32, was driving west on Beecher Road near Keil Highway at 5:44 a.m. when he lost control on a curve, left the roadway and struck a fence and two trees, according to a report released Tuesday by the Lenawee County Sheriff's Department.

Eichler was not wearing a seat belt, according to the report. Hudson Fire Department rescue personnel responded to the scene.
