SHAWANO COUNTY, WI : Kangaroo killed in Wisconsin hit-and-run crash on Wednesday, 28th November 2018

A domesticated kangaroo who got away from home on was killed evening in a hit-and-run crash.

A man who spotted Lulu was trying to corral her in the Town of Waukechon when both were struck by a truck, Green Bay ABC station WBAY-TV reported. The driver's side mirror hit the man in the chest and the truck ran over his left foot.Lulu, part of the petting farm at Anello's Torch Lite in Shawano, was killed.

The man said the driver of the truck stopped a distance down the road and repeatedly said, I'm sorry," before driving off. The driver was described as a woman in her mid-20s with glasses and shoulder-length hair.
