Albuquerque, N.M : One person injured in a collision between a vehicle and city bus near Carlisle and Lomas on Tuesday, March 8, 2016

A collision between a vehicle and city bus sent the driver of the former to an area hospital Tuesday.

The crash took place around 3:30 p.m. near Carlisle and Lomas.

A vehicle traveling west on Lomas crossed the median before striking the eastbound bus, police said. The driver of the vehicle was taken to University of New Mexico Hospital for complaints of back and neck pain.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor.
