Eldon,MO : Eldon man dies in accident on May, Saturday 5th 2018

An Eldon man died Saturday night in a single-vehicle crash in Miller County.

Missouri Highway Patrol reports show the crash occurred around 11 p.m. on Missouri 242, just east of Staton Drive.

Timothy Mantle, 36, was attempting to overtake another vehicle when he lost control, ran off the right side of the road and overturned.

Mantle was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from his vehicle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
