Iowa City,IA : Driver identified in fatal Iowa Co. crash, other driver faces OWI on October, Friday 13th 2017

Authorities have identified a man who died in a head-on collision in Iowa County on Friday night.

According to the Wisconsin State Patrol, 38-year-old Kevin Kaltenberg from Hillsboro died at the scene.

Authorities said 53-year-old Kelly Johnsrud from Muscoda was arrested and faces an operating while intoxicated charge. Johnsrud was taken to the hospital and treated for minor injuries.

They said the crash happened on U.S. Highway 14 EB/WB at Coon Rock Road near Arena around 7:15 p.m. A red car driven by Johnsrud drifted into the westbound lane of traffic and hit a pickup truck head-on.
