Robertsville, OH : Minerva woman killed in crash on U.S. Route 30 in Paris Twp. on Friday afternoon, August 12, 2016

A Minerva woman was killed Friday afternoon in a crash on U.S. Route 30.

Rochelle L. Lucas, 46, of Minerva, was traveling west near Robertsville Road when she attempted to make a U-turn, according to a release from the Ohio State Highway Patrol.

Her 2016 Ford Fusion was struck in the driver's side door by a 2011 Ford F-150 truck also traveling west. The truck was driven by Andy Denayer, 35, of Canton.

Lucas was transported by Minerva emergency medical services to Aultman Hospital where she died of her injuries. Reed Lucas, 21, was a passenger in the car and also transported to Aultman. She is in stable condition, according to the release.

Minerva and the Sandy Creek Fire District responded to the crash which remained under investigation Friday night.
