Gastonia,NC : Bicyclist killed after getting hit five times on March, Sunday 18th 2018

Just hours before her brother’s death, Kayla Gennett was celebrating her birthday with him.

Gennett and her brother, Jordan Gennett, were in Cleveland County near Boiling Springs with family and friends late Sunday. Rather than stay over, they decided to head home before 5 a.m. Monday.

Jordan Gennett left separately. He needed to get gas for his motorized bicycle, but he never made it back to the Gastonia home he shared with his sister and her fiance.
