NORWALK, CT : Car merging on to I-95 likely cause of fiery crash in Norwalk on Friday, 3rd May 2024

A car merging on to I-95 on is the likely cause of a fiery crash that left the road closed for several days.

According to Connecticut State Police, a 2010 Camaro driven by a Stamford man merged on to the highway and made contact with a 2011 Kenworth tanker truck.

The tanker truck then made contact with another tractor trailer before bursting into flames under the Fairfield Avenue overpass.

The other two vehicles also then caught fire.
