Rutland, VT : Lawn mower crash in Mount Holly on early Wednesday morning July 2nd 2014

Vermont State Police responded to a lawn mower crash around 1 a.m. Wednesday. It happened on Bowlsville Road North in Mount Holly.

Police say a 54-year-old man was traveling on his John Deer lawn mower when he drove off the road and crashed down a small embankment. He sustained serious injuries and was transported to Rutland Regional Medical Center for treatment.

The crash remains under investigation.
