A teenager has died following a crash on Interstate 80 in Johnson County.

It happened Sunday afternoon in Coralville near the Coral Ridge Avenue exit. Troopers on scene tell us a teenager was killed, but are not yet naming the victim. Our crew reports a pick-up truck pulling an animal trailer smashed into the back of the car. We are unsure - at this time - of any other injuries.

Troopers closed the left, westbound lane of traffic between exit 239 and 240 for several hours as they worked to cleanup after the crash.
