Atlanta, GA : One dead in motorcycle crash on Mike Padgett Highway on Tuesday, 25th September 2018

A Hephzibah man was killed in an early-morning crash involving a motorcycle and a truck on Mike Padgett Highway.

Justin Hollingsworth, 29, was pronounced dead at 7:20 a.m. at AU Medical Center. The cause of death was blunt force trauma, according to Richmond County Chief Deputy Coroner Kenneth Boose.

Hollingsworth was driving the motorcycle northbound on Mike Padgett when he struck the rear of a southbound truck turning left onto Horseshoe Road, said Boose.

The crash occurred around 6:30 a.m. The accident is being investigated by the coroner’s office and the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.
