CALHOUN COUNTY, SC : Early morning crash on I-26 near St. Matthews claims driver's life on Tuesday, 25th July 2023

A driver is dead after being thrown from a vehicle during a single car crash early Tuesday morning in Calhoun County, according to the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The accident occurred around 2 am on I-26 about five miles from St. Matthews.
A Nissan SUV was traveling East on I-26 when the vehicle ran off the left side of the road, hit the median and flipped over.
The driver was thrown from the vehicle because they were not wearing a seatbelt.
