Polk Count, TX : One person Killed after a two vehicle crash at state Highway 287 on Monday , December 9th 2014

One person is dead after a crash in Polk County. On Monday at approximately 11:13 a.m., Livingston DPS Troopers responded to a two-vehicle crash on State Highway 287, just three miles West of Corrigan in Polk County. The preliminary crash investigation indicates that Lynn Keith Chandler, 43, of Groveton, was traveling eastbound on SH 287 in a truck when he crossed the center stripe and struck a car driven by Sue Little, 67, of Spring. Little was pronounced deceased at the scene of the crash by Justice of the Peace Steven McEntyre at 11:32 a.m. Both Chandler and his passenger, Carolyn Ruterman were airlifted to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Beaumont for treatment.
