Meriden,CT : 17-year-old boy seriously injured in Meriden crash on December, Thursday 21th 2017

A 17-year-old boy was seriously injured after crashing into a tree in Meriden, Thursday morning.

According to the Meriden Police Department, Life Star was called to the scene of a car versus tree accident on Oregon Road near the entrance for the Quinnipiac Trail parking lot.

Authorities say the vehicle struck a tree on the driver’s side door. The driver was found to be unconscious by officials.

Police say the driver is a male, 17-year-old student of H.C. Wilcox Technical High School.

The teen sustained serious injuries in the crash and was extricated from the vehicle before being transported to a local hospital.
