Lake County, FL : Lake County man dies in head-on crash with semi-truck on Saturday, 14th March, 2020

A 20-year-old Mascotte man died early Saturday morning in Lake County when he crashed his pickup truck head-on into a semi-truck, according to Florida Highway Patrol.
Jonathan DeLeon, was driving north on Bluff Lake Road at 4:20 a.m. when he veered off into the southbound lane and collided with the semi-truck, said FHP spokeswoman Lt. Kim Montes.
DeLeon died at the scene, she said. The driver of the semi-truck, 47-year-old Jose Reyna of Plant City, was taken to Orlando Health South Lake Hospital with minor injuries.
The crash remains under investigation and Montes said it is unknown yet if alcohol was a factor in the fatal collision.
