ROANOKE, VA : 220 in Roanoke reopened after crash on Wednesday, 3rd July 2024

Northbound 220 at Elm Avenue in Roanoke has been reopened after a Wednesday crash, according to VDOT. All but one lane of northbound 220 in Roanoke is blocked as of 8 p.m. Wednesday because of a crash, according to Roanoke Police and VDOT.

Police say the crash is “multi-vehicle” and affects northbound Roy L. Webber Expressway (220) from Franklin Rd SW to Elm Ave SE.

Diversions are in place at the Franklin Rd SW and Electric Rd exits.
