VIRGINIA BEACH, VA : 2 hurt after crash on Shore Drive at Diamond Springs Road in Virginia Beach on Tuesday, 19th February 2019

Virginia Beach's crash investigation team has been sent out for a report of a serious multi-vehicle wreck Tuesday at Shore Drive and Diamond Springs Road.

According to police, two people, a male and a female, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

That portion of eastbound Shore Drive was closed for several hours. Police got the call just after 3 p.m.

Photos sent from the scene show two cars with heavy front end damage.
