Two men suffered severe injuries when their trucks collided Wednesday morning on Old Mocksville Highway, according to the N.C. Highway Patrol.
One was transported to Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem and the other went Davis Regional Medical Center, troopers said. The names of the men were not released. No other vehicles were involved.
The trucks were involved in what appeared to be a head-on crash at the intersection of Old Mocksville Highway and Barry Oak Road around 8:30 a.m.
The cause is still under investigation.
The intersection was closed for about an hour while crews cleared the crash debris.
