NODAWAY COUNTY, MO : Woman taken to hospital after Nodaway County crash on U.S. Highway 71 just 1 mile south of State Route M on Sunday, 19th January, 2020
A St. Joseph woman suffered serious injuries Sunday in a crash on U.S. Highway 71 just 1 mile south of State Route M.
According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred as a northbound 2016 Nissan Rogue, driven by Angela R. Bottorff, 47, of St. Joseph, went off the east side of the road, struck a small tree, went over a drainage ditch and struck the ground.The vehicle came to rest in the ditch on its wheels facing northwest. According to the report, the Nissan was extensively damaged and towed from the scene by Walker Body Shop & Towing, of Maryville.
Bottorff was taken by Nodaway County Ambulance to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph. She was listed in the report as wearing a seat belt.The accident was investigated by Trooper J.D. Farmer, who was assisted at the scene by the Nodaway County Sheriff’s Office and the Nodaway County Ambulance District.
