A motorcyclist in Lancaster was killed Friday after hitting several objects before being ejected from his bike, according to police.
Keith Edward Armstrong Jr., 35, of Lancaster died from multiple injuries, said Lancaster County Deputy Coroner Lynette Walker. Armstrong was wearing a helmet at the time of the collision, Walker said.
The wreck occurred about 7:40 p.m. on S.C. 200, less than 2 miles south of the city of Lancaster, said Cpl. Bill Rhyne of the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
The driver of the 2012 Honda motorcycle was traveling west and ran off the right side of the road, Rhyne said.
The bike hit a concrete curb, ran into a mailbox and into a utility pole, Rhyne said. The driver died at the scene, he said.
