New Berlin, WI : SUV crashes into New Berlin dentist office on National Avenue near Moorland Road on Friday afternoon, Oct 23, 2015

A sports utility vehicle crashed into a New Berlin dentist office Friday afternoon.

Firefighters said the driver had some sort of medical condition and passed out.

The driver crossed the median on National Avenue near Moorland Road, traveled through a parking lot and plowed through the front window of the building.

Fortunately, the office is normally closed on Friday.

The assistant fire chief said had patients been inside, things would have been much worse.

“There are several dental examination chairs that are pushed several feet into the building. Extremely lucky for the people not getting their teeth cleaned today,” New Berlin Fire Department Chief Steve Kon.

The driver is OK. No one else was hurt.
