Pasadena, TX : Two-vehicle wreck involving school bus shuts down two lanes on Katy Freeway on Tuesday, January 31, 2017

A two-vehicle wreck involving a school bus in Fort Bend County has shut down two lanes of Interstate 10 in the Katy area, according to Houston Transtar.

The Katy ISD bus was coming from Wolman Elementary School, according to KTRK. Two of the students are being checked out and the others were transferred to a different bus.

The crash, reported around 4:20 p.m. at I-10 and FM-1463, came after the bus was rear-ended by an SUV with a mother and two children inside, the station reported.

The collision also closed off traffic on the entrance ramp and right shoulder and has sparked a 6-minute delay for commuters.
