WILLMAR, MN : One injured in vehicle crash north of Willmar on Wednesday, 17th October 2018

A Spicer woman suffered unknown injuries Wednesday afternoon in a two-vehicle crash in Willmar.

According to the Kandiyohi County Sheriff's Office, Mary Mitchelle-Nestande, 57, of Spicer, was airlifted from the scene by Life Link to St. Cloud Hospital. Timothy Bailey, 57, of Willmar, was not injured.


Authorities were called at 4:07 p.m. Wednesday to a crash at the intersection of Kandiyohi County Road 5 and County Road 27 in Dovre Township. The incident involved a 2008 Ford Escape driven by Mitchelle-Nestande and a 2014 Dodge pickup driven by Bailey.

The cause of the accident is still under investigation by the Sheriff's Office, and no further description of the crash was immediately available.
