Mount Vernon, IL : Fatal accident involving motorcycle on Friday, July 21, 2017

Police were called at 1:36 p.m. on Friday after reports of an accident.

The accident occurred at the intersection of North Libengood Lane and East Illinois Highway 15. The crash involved a car and a motorcycle. Two people were taken to separate hospitals, one to Crossroads Community Hospital and another to Good Samaritan Hospital.
