North Port, FL : Two women injured in crash on I-75 near North Port on Sunday morning, July 31, 2016

According to the City of North Port, emergency personnel responded to a two-vehicle crash just after 6 a.m. this morning on Interstate 75.

The crash happened near mile marker 176, between the Toledo Blade Boulevard and Kings Highway exits, according to a post on the City of North Port Facebook page.

Bayflite transported one woman to an area hospital, while another was taken by ambulance to Sarasota Memorial Emergency Room in North Port. Their condition is unknown.
