A deadly motorcycle crash shut down part of Carowinds Boulevard Wednesday night, according to the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police Department.
Police said the road was shut down in both directions from 14300 Carowinds Blvd. to the intersection of Choate Circle.
When they got on scene, police said they found a Honda with heavy driver’s side damage and a badly damaged Harley Davidson in the roadway.
The driver of the motorcycle, Jean Kelly Allen Jr., died at the scene, according to Medic.
