SPRINGFIELD, MA : Springfield FD extricates 2 following rollover crash on Wednesday, 29th January, 2020

A mother and her adult son, trapped following a two-vehicle crash at Pine and Cedar streets early Wednesday night, were taken the hospital, a fire department spokesman said.
The crash occurred shortly before 5:30 p.m. and firefighters extricated the two victims from their Honda Fit, Capt. Brian Tetreault said.
The driver of the second vehicle, a Toyota Prius, reported no injuries. Springfield police continue to investigate the accident.According to police spokesman Ryan Walsh, the mother’s injuries were not life-threatening, while her son suffered minor injuries.
