Georgetown, DE : Man in critical condition after single vehicle crash on Roxanna Road in Millville on Monday, September 8, 2014

The Delaware State Police is investigating a single vehicle crash in Millville that has left a 30-year-old man in critical condition. The Delaware State Police says the crash happened around 4:15 p.m. Monday on Roxanna Road near Burbage Road when the driver of a 2003 Saturn Vue failed to negotiate a slight curve on the wet roadway. The Delaware State Police says the car spun and hit a utility pole. The driver of the car, identified as Edward M. Dailing Jr., is hospitalized in critical condition. Troopers say alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, but Dailing's speed on the wet roadway is being investigated as a contributing factor in the crash.
