MANCHESTER-BY-THE-SEA, MA : 1 killed, 1 seriously injured in Manchester-By-The-Sea crash on Tuesday, 20th June 2023

Massachusetts State Police said one person was killed and another was flown to a Boston hospital after a single-car crash in Manchester-By-The-Sea.

Police said at 7:19 a.m., on Tuesday, state troopers responded to a crash on Route 128 north at mile marker 51.

One person in the car, a 19-year-old man, was pronounced dead on the scene.

The suspected driver, a 26-year-old man from Florida, suffered serious, life-threatening injuries. He was taken to a Boston hospital by medical helicopter, authorities said.

The Florida man has no legal address but is believed to be from Lynn, police said.

Neither of their names were immediately released.
