Harrison Township, OH : Philadelphia Drive still closed after crash in Harrison Township on Thursday afternoon, February 9, 2017

A portion of Philadelphia Drive is still closed due to an accident that happened on Thursday afternoon.

The two-vehicle accident in Harrison Township split a car in half and critically injured one driver.

It happened on Philadelphia Drive near Marlay Road. That area remains closed at 8 a.m. on Friday.

One car crashed into a utility pole and cut power to nearly 1,000 customers. Power has since been restored to the area.

The impact severely damaged the vehicle, too. Its black leather seats, and pink steering wheel cover and it was in plain sight on the side of the road instead of inside the cab of the car where it should be.
