COLORADO SPRINGS, CO : Car allegedly runs stop sign causes crash with school on Friday, 22nd March 2024

A car allegedly ran a stop sign on Friday, causing a crash with a school bus and one other car, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).
CSPD told FOX21’s crew on the scene that a white sedan heading northbound on Institute Street ran a stop sign, hitting a blue Subaru that was going eastbound on Uintah Street. The school bus was heading westbound on Uintah when the crash occurred, and the white car spun around after the initial collision and was hit from behind by the bus.
CSPD said people allegedly ran from the scene, though police are investigating the crash as a stop sign violation.
