Mint Hill, NC : 23-year-old woman dead in a deadly crash involving a car and a truck on early Wednesday morning September 17th 2014

First responders were on the scene of a deadly crash involving a car and a truck near Mint Hill early Wednesday morning. Charlotte-Mecklenburg police were investigating after MEDIC confirmed that a woman in the car died in the accident on Brief Road at Blaydon Drive, near the Union County line, around 6:20 a.m. Police identified the victim as Inna Petrovna Dimova, 23. Officials said Dimova crossed over the double-yellow line, turned sideways and into the path of a 2006 Ford F-450 driven by Timothy Huntley. The Mazda was struck on the passenger side and caught fire, police said. Dimova was pronounced dead on scene. She was a nurse at Carolinas Medical Center Union. Huntley was not injured in the crash.
