WICHITA, KS : Crash on I-I35 north of Wichita ties up traffic on Wednesday, 16th August 2023

A rollover crash north of Wichita tied up traffic on Interstate 135 between 61st Street North and 85th Street North. It happened Wednesday morning around 8 a.m.

The Kansas Highway Patrol said a driver was fleeing from the scene of a different crash, lost control of her car and went off the road. The car hit a guardrail. The 61-year-old driver was taken to the emergency room to be checked for a possible minor injury.

Traffic on I-135 was down to one lane as authorities worked the scene.
