FORT LAUDERDALE, FL : Pedestrian killed in Lauderhill hit-and-run search underway for driver on Thursday, 14th December 2023

Police seek the public’s help in their search for a driver who, they said, struck and killed a man in Lauderhill and then kept on going.

Lauderhill Police units responded to multiple 911 calls about a man lying on the road and needing medical attention along the 3500 block of West Sunrise Boulevard, just west of the Swap Shop, at around 7:30 p.m., Wednesday.

The crash was so severe that people several blocks down heard the moment of impact.

One of them was Johnny Haden. He spoke with 7News on Thursday.
